ABOUT MUELLER KNEER X
Mueller Kneer was established by Architectural Association graduates Marianne Mueller and Olaf Kneer in London in 1997.

Mueller Kneer work on a variety of projects from residential and commercial interiors to buildings for the arts and communities. Their clients include the ICA, MADE Midlands Architecture and the Designed Environment, The Guinness Trust, Everyman Cinema and Aberystwyth Arts Centre. They advise the London Borough of Newham on major new projects as members of its Design Review Panel.

Mueller Kneer are recognised as being part of a generation of emerging young practices in the UK, and have won a number of awards, including the AJ Corus ‘40 under 40’. Their work has been widely reviewed including in ‘1000x European Architecture’ FRAME’s ‘Night Fever’, Kieran Long’s ‘New London Interiors’ and Kaspar König’s ‘AC/DC’ series.

They have been exhibited at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, The Royal College of Art, URBIS in Manchester, at the UIA Turin, the RIBA and recently, as part of the AJ Argent Kings Cross Charette at NLA New London Architecture.

The practice’s work is critically evaluated and externally supported through teaching at architectural schools. Marianne was a visiting professor at the TU Berlin and is a senior lecturer at University of East London, Olaf at the UCL Bartlett. They both teach at the Architectural Association in London.
